The location is fantastic—just a short walk to the Inari Shrine! Everything's automated and easy, but the room smelled like a hamster. 😅

We faced challenges with the size of the room, which was too tiny to comfortably maneuver our luggage. The futons were quite uncomfortable, failing to provide the restful sleep we had hoped for, despite staff efforts to accommodate us. Lastly, accessing our room on the fourth floor was a hassle due to the absence of an elevator, which made it particularly strenuous for us, especially with heavy suitcases.

The Japanese-Style Room offered a unique experience with tatami flooring that was surprisingly comfortable for sleeping. The inn's communal kitchen was well-equipped, allowing me to prepare meals and store my bento without hassle. I loved the interesting decorations around the property, showcasing art from travelers worldwide. However, it got chilly at night without sufficient heating. I relied a lot on the air conditioning, which dried out the air a bit. Additionally, while the bathrooms were clean, it could have been more convenient if they had more than one for sharing. Despite the minor issues, I found the place to be a cozy home base for exploring Kyoto.
